These fibers are compressed with rubber or resin to create a strong, dense material that can withstand high temperatures and pressures. The material is flexible and can be easily cut to the desired shape and size, making it ideal for use as a seal between two surfaces. Compressed gasket paper is often used in the automotive, chemical and engineering industries.
